I am a native New Englander, raised in coastal Westport, MA. I went to Providence College in Providence, RI and graduated with a B.S. in Biology and a Theology minor in 1995. In 1996, I migrated to the South to attend Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia. I graduated summa cum laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2000. With a desire to spend more time in the Atlanta area, I started a practice in Clarkston, GA, an Atlanta suburb. If you have read Outcasts United by Warren St. John, you already know that Clarkston is largely a community of refugees from all over the globe. Eleven years of practice in Clarkston was truly a growth experience, teaching me to open my mind and heart to new perspectives and belief systems.

My time in Georgia was also a wonderful time of self-exploration and spiritual growth. Well-trained in the chiropractic perspective, I became curious about other alternative healing methods. Why and how do these work? And what do all these alternative and holistic methods have in common? Through further study of Reiki, Quantum Touch, Bioenergetic Synchronization Technique, and other mind-body methods, I discovered that one likely common denominator is the body’s energy field. The human body is made up of energy and is surrounded by an electromagnetic field. Balanced energy equates to a healthy body!

During my last few years in Georgia I felt a strong desire to be closer to nature, to live in a quieter and more peaceful place. My partner and I visited Burlington and the Lake Champlain Islands in August of 2010, and it was love at first sight! We truly felt at home. We returned to Burlington in February (two days after a blizzard) to

make sure our love was not just a whimsical crush. We STILL loved it... snow drifts and all! Burlington became our new home in September of 2011.

Since settling into Vermont, I have continued my study of alternative forms of bodywork and have loved learning and incorporating myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, and zero balancing into my practice. I have also discovered that most, if not all, health conditions have an emotional component and that assisting patients in getting in touch with emotions stored within the body's tissues greatly facilitates the healing process. It's amazing how these things all fit together!

I look forward to meeting you and working with you soon!
